The Czech Republic's most comprehensive property search, on one map.
What Bytky does
Bytky watches the Czech property market around the clock and adds what the listing leaves out: whether the price is fair, what it really costs each month, how long the trip to work takes and what's within reach.

Live from the collector
Tracking since 12 Oct 2026Last sweep 2 hr agoUpdated around the clock
01Good-value index
Bytky prices every listing against similar ones nearby: the same kind of property, a size within 25 %, a similar layout, all listed in the last 90 days. You get a fair price, the typical range and a verdict from Good deal to Pricey.

02Commute
Save the places that matter: work, school, a partner's office. Bytky times the journey from every listing by public transport, arriving when you need to be there, and keeps only the flats within your limit.

03Reach
From any listing, or any point you right-click on the map, Bytky draws how far you can get in 10, 20 and 30 minutes, and counts what's inside each band: shops, restaurants, schools, doctors and parks.

04Getting around
Every listing in the PID area gets a transit score from 0 to 100: departures within 500 m at peak, the walk to the nearest metro or rail, and the lines within reach.

05Nearby
Supermarkets, cafés, schools and kindergartens, doctors and pharmacies, parks, playgrounds and gyms, from national open data. Each listing shows the nearest of each and an amenity score.
06History and true cost
Bytky keeps a new version of a listing whenever something changes: the price, the charges, the status or the listing itself. You see how it got to today's price and what it really costs each month.

07Areas
Every region, district, town and Prague neighbourhood has its own page: a map of every listing, a table you can sort and export, rents and prices against the wider area, how long it takes to get around and what's nearby.

Areas
Median rents, prices per m² and days on market for every Czech municipality, updated daily.
08Flat-hunt tracker
Save flats and move them through the hunt: contacted, viewing booked, viewed, applied, offer. Book viewings, keep notes and a must-ask checklist on each flat, and share it all with whoever you're moving with.
09Alerts
Save any search, commute filter included, and Bytky checks every new listing and price change against it as it sweeps both sites.

FAQ
Yes. Reading never needs an account: the map, every listing and area page, the paste box and the extension are free. A free account adds two saved searches with alerts, a commute place, the flat-hunt board and extension sync. Bytky Plus, for heavier searches, is coming and isn't on sale yet.
From public property listings across the Czech Republic, which Bytky checks around the clock, recording a new version whenever the price, the charges, the status or the listing itself changes. Timetables come from PID open data, places from OpenStreetMap and the national school and healthcare registers, and addresses and boundaries from the state register (RÚIAN).
From comparable listings: the same kind of property, a size within 25 % and a similar layout, live or listed in the last 90 days. Bytky looks within 500 m first and widens to 1 km, 2 km and then the district until it has enough, then takes their weighted median price per m², with the middle half of them as the typical range. Where the listing sits in that spread gives the verdict, from Good deal to Pricey, and fewer than 8 comparables means no verdict. These are asking prices, not sale prices: Bytky has no transaction data.
Bytky runs OpenTripPlanner on the PID timetables. For each place you save, it works out how long the trip takes by public transport to arrive at the time you choose, door to door, including the walk to and from the stops. Times are computed for small hexagonal cells a few hundred metres across, so listings in the same cell share a time. They cover Prague and Central Bohemia, by public transport only.
How far you can get in 10, 20 and 30 minutes from a listing, or from any point you right-click (or long-press) on the map, drawn as three bands. Choose public transport (all of it, metro only, or metro and tram), walking or cycling, and when you leave: weekday 8:00 or 17:30, weekday 22:30 or Saturday 10:00. Each band counts the places inside it: groceries, food and drink, schools, kindergartens, health, parks, playgrounds, sport and services.
Listings, price history, fair prices and nearby places cover the whole of Czechia. Transit scores, live departures, commute times and the reach map cover the PID area: Prague and Central Bohemia. Every region, district, town and municipal part has an area page, and so do 231 neighbourhoods in eight cities, Prague and Brno among them.
New listings on both sites usually reach Bytky within a quarter of an hour, and both sites are swept in full every few hours, which catches price changes, reservations and removals. Fair prices are rescored when a price changes and refreshed every night; market statistics and area pages update daily.
Each listing is placed from the source GPS or the state address register (RÚIAN) and graded by how exact it is: exact address, street, area or municipality. Commute times, reach and nearby places are measured from that point, so they are only as exact as the location.
No. Everything is on the website: the map, every listing and area page, and the paste box for a link someone sent you. The extension brings the same report to the listing sites themselves, in a panel beside every listing and as badges on search results. It's free and needs no account.
Yes. Bytky runs an MCP server that Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other assistants connect to with your Bytky account. Ask in plain language and the assistant can search listings, read a listing's history and fair price, look up an area's market and work out reach, with the same data as the site. The AI assistants page has the steps for each app.
